Former Wanderers defender Craig Woodman may miss out on a return to Adams Park with Exeter this evening due to injury.

The 32-year-old played 131 times for the Chairboys during a three-year spell after arriving in Buckinghamshire from Bristol City in May 2007.

Woodman was named in the Grecians’ starting line-up for their 4-0 defeat against Shrewsbury on Saturday but he didn’t take his place on the pitch for kick-off.

Manager Paul Tisdale said afterwards that the defender had picked up an injury and he is a doubt for tonight’s game along with Jordan Moore-Taylor and Tom McCready.

Defeat to Shrewsbury ended Exeter’s eight-match unbeaten run and leaves Tisdale’s team tenth in League Two.

Wanderers boss Gareth Ainsworth has his own injury concerns ahead of the match and you can read more about them here.
