WANDERERS keeper Matt Ingram is reportedly on Aston Villa’s radar ahead of the January transfer window.
Reports in the Midlands suggest that the former John Hampden schoolboy is among a cluster of keepers being watched by the Premiership club’s goalkeeping coach Tony Coton.
Wanderers have an excellent relationship with the Villains. They played a behind-closed-doors pre-season friendly against them in the summer and have taken young Villa defender Janoi Donacien on loan - a result of Wycombe’s close ties with Tommy Mooney, the former Wanderers player who now works with the young players at Villa Park.
Ingram has made more than 100 appearances for Wycombe since rising through their ranks and was called in to join England in one of their goalkeeper training sessions.
