Banton in action for Hartlepool
Jason Banton has left Wycombe Wanderers after his contract was terminated by mutual consent.
The midfielder joined Wanderers on a one year contract in the summer but will now pursue opportunities elsewhere, a club statement read.
Banton, 23, had an ill-fated loan spell at Hartlepool United earlier in the season and returned to Adams Park in November due to a lack of game time.
He has since failed to make an impact on Gareth Ainsworth’s first-team and leaves the club having made just five league appearances.
