Former Wycombe Wanderers fans’ favourite Keith ‘Rhino’ Ryan is set to cycle from London to Amsterdam to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK.

The 45-year-old scored 29 goals in over 300 league appearances for the Chairboys between 1989 and 2006 and also Captained the Adams Park club.

The one-time midfielder is most fondly remembered, however, for his goal in the 2001 FA Cup semi-final against Liverpool which made it 2-1 in the 88th minute and revived Wycombe’s hopes of an upset.

With his playing days now firmly behind him, Ryan is currently the reserve team manager at Queens Park Rangers.

His mammoth ride will take three days and starts in London on Friday, 3 June before finishing in the Dutch capital some 250 miles later.

Prostate Cancer UK has invested millions of pounds into researching the illness, which is the most common cancer among men, over the past 10 years.

Ryan has already reached his target of £1,000, with a hefty majority of the funds coming from a fundraising dinner held in March.
