Paul Hayes’ scrappy opener gave Wycombe a second half lead before the Bees levelled in the 72nd minute through Andy Yiadom.
The match was also notable for a number of fine saves from Ryan Allsop as he twice denied the prolific John Akinde.
The result leaves Wanderers two points behind AFC Wimbledon in the chase for the final League Two play-off place ahead of the visit of Yeovil Town tomorrow.
