WYCOMBE Wanderers will continue to display Beechdean Dairy Ice Cream on the front of their new shirts for the 2016/17 season.

The Buckinghamshire-based company is owned by club chairman Andrew Howard and his wife Susie and this season Beechdean will enter a third year as the major sponsor after out-bidding other potential sponsors.

The deal is worth more than last year’s shirt sponsorship.

Damian Irvine, the club’s head of commercial activities, said: “Andrew and Susie have been fantastic supporters of the club in recent years, long before Andrew came on board as chairman, and for us to have a partnership of this nature relates perfectly to our commercial values in terms of working with a successful local brand who are growing and expanding within the UK and overseas.”

The new kits – featuring the Beechdean logo across the front - will be revealed on Sunday and will be available to purchase at a special season launch event at Adams Park from 1.30pm where the club’s players and management will be in attendance.

Meanwhile, the club could be due more financial good news if Jordan Ibe’s rumoured £15m move from Liverpool to Bournemouth goes through with the Blues having negotiated a sell-on clause when Ibe was sold.
