Wycombe Wanderers’ official season launch went off with a bang on Sunday as the Chairboys revealed their kits for the 2016/17 season.

The kits are the first to be supplied by Irish company O’Neills and a number of first team players modelled the new designs at Adams Park.

Fans were also treated to a huge surprise at the event’s conclusion as the club unveiled new signing Adebayo Akinfenwa.

The ‘Beast’ stepped out to an ecstatic reaction as he took to the catwalk in the new home kit, which features classic sky blue and dark blue quarters as well as horizontal stripes.

In contrast, the away kit is a simple all-white design with faded pinstripes which read WWFC and carries the year the club was founded – 1887 – on its reverse.

Next season’s home goalkeeper kit is also white, while the change goalkeeper strip is a vibrant lime green and pink.

Fans can get their hands on the replica strips, as well as a range of leisure wear, at the club store which is open between 9am to 5.30pm on weekdays.

An ‘elite’ kit, which is an exact replica of that worn by players on match days, is also available for purchase and offers a tighter fit and greater stretch properties.

Gareth Ainsworth’s team will debut their new away kit on Tuesday night when they take on French side Le Havre in Sarzeau.

Wanderers’ fans will get their first chance to see next season’s home kit in action on Friday, July 22 when QPR arrive at Adams Park for a pre-season friendly.
