Wycombe trialists Scott Brown and Will De Havilland have both put pen to paper on permanent deals at Adams Park.

Brown, who made more than 300 appearances for Cheltenham and was most recently at Aberdeen, has featured in the Wanderers' last two pre-season friendlies, and brings Gareth Ainsworth the senior goalkeeper he has been searching for during the summer.

Defender De Havilland, 21, had spent two years at Sheffield Wednesday after joining from Millwall's academy in 2014, but failed to make an appearance for the Owls before he was released.

Both players have signed two-year deals at Adams Park, and could feature in tonight's friendly at Aldershot.

Ainsworth told the club's official website: "It’s no secret that we were on the lookout for a keeper and I’m sure Scott will play a big part in continuing the defensive resilience that we’ve built up over the last two years. He has terrific experience at this level, and in the top flight in Scottish football, and he’s an important acquisition for us.

"Will is a young lad near the start of his career and where he’s lacking in first-team experience, he’s got all the attributes to be a success and I’m sure he can compete with the likes of Aaron Pierre and Anthony Stewart for a place in the starting line-up because he’s been excellent throughout his trial."
