Four Grimsby Town fans who were ejected from Adams Park during Saturday’s League Two match have been issued banning orders by Wycombe Wanderers.

The bans come after the four fans were found to have been responsible for either bringing a pyrotechnic device into the stadium, discharging it or throwing it on to the pitch.

The incident occurred inside 10 minutes of kick off of the 2-1 Wanderers win as a green smoke bomb was thrown onto the pitch.

All four men have been served with a lifetime ban at the stadium, which is in keeping with the club’s zero tolerance policy on the use of pyrotechnics.

The club also confirmed that details have been shared with Grimsby who have banned the supporters from all games involving the Mariners across all age groups.

Wanderers have also issued a banning order against a Wycombe supporter for repeatedly breaching the club’s regulations in relation to acceptable behaviour.
