Adebayo Akinfenwa and Aaron Pierre could be in contention to start against Notts County at Adams Park tomorrow.

Both players picked un injuries last weekend at Hartlepool but Gareth Ainsworth said in Thursday's press conference that they picked up minor knocks and he was 'hopeful' they would be fit for tomorrow.

Ainsworth also gave an upbeat bulletin on key players currently injured, saying he expected them back within the next fortnight.

The only exception to that is Anthony Stewart, although he still has a chance before the season has reached a conclusion.

Kevin Nolan has breathed new life into a Notts County side who were staring into the abyss.

He has picked up some crucial wins since taking the reins and he has a clean bill of health within the squad.

One player who won't be involved, however, is goalkeeper Scott Loach who has joined York on loan.
