Wycombe Wanderers went away this week to an RAF base for a team-building exercise as the countdown to the new season continues.
The squad and staff went to RAF Digby in Lincolnshire and they undertook a whole host of different tasks as the week progressed.
Manager Gareth Ainsworth hailed the success of the short training camp and said his players were totally engaged at all aspects.
He said: “It was fantastic. It was a really good teambuilding exercise and it was a brilliant camp at RAF Digby and it gave us a chance to see a military camp and how they go about things.
“We had the chance to use their pitches for training but we took part in a whole host of different activities which were competitive.
“It is something I have done before but I have to say this was certainly one of the best. It was great to integrate the likes of Adam El-Abd into the squad and this helped him get to know the guys so much better.
“We had a debrief on Thursday morning and the feedback from everyone was very positive and I was delighted with how the players got involved.
“I am a very proud manager.”
