Wycombe Wanderers defender Joe Jacobson has been nominated for the Sky Bet League Two Player of the Month for August.
The full-back has been in sizzling form in the opening month of the season, either scoring or assisting 50 per cent of the Chairboys' ten league goals in August.
Jacobson has showed his expert credentials from dead-ball situations, scoring two-sumptuous free kicks against Lincoln City and Notts County and then from the spot at Grimsby Town.
The defender faces competition for the award from James Collins (Luton Town), Kayden Jackson (Accrington Stanley) and Frank Nouble (Newport County), with the winner set to be announced on Friday September 8 following the decision from the EFL judging panel.
