Chairboys manager Gareth Ainsworth could be boosted by the news that Nathan Tyson has a chance of returning for Sunday’s game against Leatherhead.

Tyson has been out with a knee ligament injury since being forced off at Cambridge on October 7.

However, Tyson is ahead of schedule in his return and Ainsworth praised his medical team for getting the jet-heeled forward back on track.

He said: “Tys could possibly make the tie but we will have to wait and see and overall apart from Harriman and Kashket we have a clean bill of health.

“Craig Mackail-Smith and Marcus Bean are back in contention and I have to praise our medical team for the work they have done with Tys.

“He is four weeks ahead of schedule and I would like to thank Cian O’Doherty and David Wates for their hard work with him.

“It is great to see him back but even though he is ahead of schedule, we do have to be careful with him and we don’t want to rush him back and see him aggravate it.”
