Wycombe striker Adebayo Akinfenwa received further plaudits at the EFL Awards night yesterday evening as he was named in the EFL team of the season.
Akinfenwa had had another magnificent campaign for the Blues, scoring 17 league goals with 12 assists so far this term.
The 35-year-old was named in the League Two team of the season recently but this recent accolade acknowledges the best players from the Championship, League One and League Two combined.
Akinfenwa was pipped to the League Two player of the season award by Accrington's Billy Kee.
