GREAT Marlow School’s Year 8s celebrated their first league title after a perfect season, winning all seven of their matches with some excellent performances.

Highlights of the season include Stasio Maltby’s brace in a 2-1 win against Wye Valley, Will Peck’s hat trick in a 7-3 victory against last year’s league champions John Hampden and Alex Moss’ hat trick and captain Aaron Foster’s five assists enabling a memorable 7-0 hammering of local rivals Sir William Borlase.

In Great Marlow’s final game against Princes Risborough, Louis Bullen-Savory gave a Beckenbaueresque performance in a 4-1 success, meaning Great Marlow are now unbeaten in the league since 2010.

Coach Mr Hudson, said, “It has been a fantastic season for the students who have achieved their just deserves for all their hard work, dedication and commitment to improving themselves.”
