HAYLEY Munro was the golden girl for Wycombe District Swimming Club at the Kelkheim Christmas Meet.
The 14-year-old won six gold medals at the event in Wycombe's twin town in Germany.
She was one of 16 swimmers from Wycombe, who swam 94 events between them bringing home 22 gold, 19 silver and 15 bronze medals.
Not far behind Munro in the medals table was ten year-old Imogen Shepherd who won five gold medals. She also picked two silver and one bronze medal.
Joshua Lewis, 12, also enjoyed multiple success with three gold medals and two silver medals, while Calum Taylor, also 12, won two gold, two silver and two bronze medals with eight-year-old George Longhurst also winning two golds.
The club's other gold medals were brought home by Georgina Harper, Cara Evans, Vicky Jewell, Caitlin McGregor Wycombe's other medallists were Daniel Manners, Katie Cannon, Daniel Hobart, Ashleigh Young and Amy McGregor.
The Wycombe team were hosted by the families of the German swimmers and treated to a civic reception by the Mayor of Kelkheim.
Kelkheim swimmers will return to swim at one of Wycombe's meets later in the year.
