Birthday boy celebrates in style

SWIMMING: Joshua Lewis celebrated his 13th birthday in style by notching eight personal bests and landing four new 13-year County Qualifying Times at the City of Oxford Swimming Club's annual level 2 Meet.

His qualifying times were achieved in the 100m backstroke, 200m butterfly, 200m individual medley and 100 freestyle and they helped see him crowned Wycombe District Swimming Club’s star performer of the meet.

Elsewhere at the meeting, Emma Sowerby and Megan Hipkiss both won medals of all colours with their golds coming in the over 17s freestyle and 13/14 years freestyle respectively.
