Gold stars for Wycombe

WYCOMBE District Swimming Club scooped 18 gold medals at the Alan Eyles Development Meet at Reading on Saturday.

Between them, the 56 swimmers added a further 18 silver medals and 19 bronze medals.

Golds came from Emily Cannon, Chloe Summers, Chris Harbour, Harry Engall, Rory House, Kieran Evans, Katie Cannon, Georgina Harper, Calum Taylor, Charlotte Brill-Edwards, Madeline Harris, Cameron Roberts and Cara Evans.

First time swimmers Amy Coates, Ellie Melrose, Freddie Eastman, Grace Cox, Mel and Jo Downes and Theo Wapshare were also among the medals.
