WYCOMBE District Swimming Club registered an incredible 203 personal bests from 244 starts at the club’s annual long course sprint on Saturday.
Josh Lewis and Megan Hipkiss were the big winners with three golds each.
Lewis won the 50m butterfly, 50m freestyle and 50m backstroke in the 13-year category while Hipkiss dominated proceedings in the year up in the 50m butterfly, 50m freestyle and 50m butterfly.
Earlier, Rachel Cox got the ball rolling in the nine-year group with gold in the 50m freestyle, before George Longhurst enjoyed double triumph in the 50m breastroke and 50m butterfly at ten-year level.
Chris Harbour and Hen Lowen-Cooper were the 11-year winners while in the 12 years Liam Jones was in top form in the 50m freestyle and 50m backstroke and Connor Lewis won the 50m butterfly Jess Brock and Jack Yates joined Hipkiss in the winners’ circle at 14-year level, Ashley Youn and Joe Ruler were the 15-year gold medalists and Tom House (50m freestyle, 50m backstroke) and Alex Vine triumphed in the 17 and over group.
Silver medals went to Lauren Jones, Sam Krasner, Roxy Gillespie, Lowen-Cooper, Chloe Summers, Lewis, Liam Jones, Manners, Lewis, Brock, Yates, Calum Taylor, Ruler, Ashleigh Young and Vine.
