SWIMMING: Wycombe District will contest the final of the Speedo League (South) Premier Division on Saturday December 11 after swimming a great second round meet in Maidenhead on Saturday.
The finished second to reach the final afterscoring 206 points to Beckenham's 242.
The Club had 12 first places and 17 second places with Kate Ambridge, 17, winning the Ladies Open 100m butterfly, the U15 100m butterfly and the U15 100m breaststroke events.
Samuel Straughen won the boys U11 50m backstroke and butterfly events, while James Stone came first in the U13 100m breaststroke.
Anne Jemielty scooped the U15 100m backstroke, Robert Matthews-Stroud won the U15 100m butterfly and James Crawford won the Open 100m backstroke.
The Open 100m breaststroke went to David Ryan, while Alex Vine won the Open 100m individual medley.
The U15 girls medley team of Jemielty, Ambridge, Jeni Howard and Laura Weston also won their event.
Individual record places were gained by Howard in the Open 100m individual medley and U15 100m freestyle, Vine in the Open 100m butterfly, Daniel Crawford in the U13 100m backstroke, Stephanie Wilson in the Open 100m backstroke, Matthew-Stroud in the U15 100m freestyle, Andrew Carpenter in the U15 100m breaststroke and James Crawford in the Open 100m freestyle. The club also place record nine of the relay events.
