Local sport decimated by the snow

SPORT in Bucks virtually ground to a standstill this weekend, with hardly any outside match going ahead.

Chesham United, Chalfont St Peter, Marlow and Beaconsfield all saw their Southern League matches postponed, and it was the same story with the oval ball.

Amersham & Chiltern RFC, Wycombe, Marlow, Beaconsfield and Chinnor were all frustrated.

Elsewhere, Wycombe HC U18s national cup quarter final with Teddington had to be postponed.
