Bucks Free Press: Striker Logan leaves Wanderers Striker Logan leaves Wanderers

STRIKER Richard Logan has left Wycombe Wanderers today by mutual consent.

The 30-year-old was signed by former Chairboys boss Gary Waddock in the summer after a five-year spell with Exeter.

But he only managed to find the net once in a Blues shirt – against Bristol Rovers in a game that was abandoned in the second half after Adams Park was struck by lightning during a torrential downpour.

He tweeted: "Wish all the Wycombe fans and the team a great season. Will miss everyone. Still keep in touch everyone and the fans [sic] #stayblessed".

The club issued a statement this afternoon, which read: “We would like to take this opportunity to thank Richard for his efforts whilst at the club and wish him every success for the future.”

Why thank him he was poor in a Wycombe shirt? At least we've got rid of one of Waddocks signings so if we're saving money on his wages can we try and get a decent striker in the lower divisions on loan?
