RELEASED Wanderers striker Richard Logan is set to sign for his home town team, according to reports.

The 30-year-old departed Adams Park by mutual consent this week, having failed to impress since signing from Exeter City in the summer.

The terms of his departure mean he is unable to join another Football League club until the January transfer window opens.

But he is set to sign for non-league side Bury Town and could make his debut for the Isthmian League side on Tuesday night, according to the Bury Free Press.

They claim the Bury St Edmunds-born striker met with officials from the club on Friday night and he is set to sign a short-term deal until January 1.
