WANDERERS are set to find out this week the outcome of an enquiry into allegations of breaching third party ownership rules.
Both the FA and Football League have been investigating claims brought by Bristol Rovers that Wanderers gained an unfair competitive advantage last season because of alleged irregularities in the 2010 transfer of Matt Phillips.
Wanderers are confident they have no case to answer, having previously brought a breach of regulations relating to agent dealing to the attention of the footballing authorities themselves.
The club was fined £10,000 for that, with Rovers calling for further punitive measures and a points deduction to be given to Wanderers.
A ruling on the affair is likely to be made at some point this week.
