Paris Cowan-Hall's form in his last few games for Wanderers has landed him December's League Two player of the month award.

The winger plundered the award after netting three in four games during the month, extending a run of five goals in five League Two matches.

The 24-year-old's form prompted Millwall to sign him on a two and a half year deal.

Cowan-Hall won the award ahead of Shrewsbury defender Nathaniel Knight-Percival, Burton winger Alex MacDonald and York midfielder Luke Summerfield.

Blues boss Gareth Ainsworth said: “What a great accolade for Paris to leave on. It’s fantastic for him. We’ve received a couple of nominations already this season and with Paris’ goals and all-round play during December, there could only be one winner this time.

“He’s really come on and produced the football that we believed he was capable of, so the coaching staff and I are really proud.

"I’m sure Millwall are excited to be getting someone who’s coming off the back of such good form. Hopefully he can go on and rip the Championship up. Well done Paris.”
