Bruno Andrade is likely to make a return to his old stomping ground on Saturday when he arrives at Adams Park donning the colours of Stevenage.

The winger played 26 times and scored two goals for Wanderers during a loan spell after Gareth Ainsworth bought him to the club from QPR in October 2012.

The 21-year-old made an instant impression on Blues fans when he scored the only goal of the game against Fleetwood Town on his debut.

Wanderers supporters will be well aware of the skills possessed by Andrade, as will Ainsworth who knew the Portuguese from his time in west London.

“Bruno’s got a lot of attributes. Going forward he’s very tricky and skilful. The good thing about having Bruno here is that we know what he doesn’t do well,” he said.

“It’s great that Bruno’s found a club again and that he’s playing because he needs to get out of QPR’s under-21s and play first team games.

“He did brilliantly for me while he was here and it will be great to see him again, but he’s been on the bench for them lately so there’s a whole host of players that we have to worry about at Stevenage. It’s not just Bruno and it’ll be nice to see him again but we’ll be concentrating on what we can do.”

Andrade was an unused substitute in Stevenage’s last outing as they beat fifth place Southend 4-2 having come back from 2-1 down.

Graham Westley’s team have lost three of their last 11 League Two matches and lie four points off a play-off spot in ninth place.
