Adams Park will host five Reading under-21 fixtures next season, the Championship club has announced.

The Development squads of Southampton, Everton, Middlesbrough, Manchester United and Tottenham are all scheduled to play the Royals youngsters at Wanderers’ stadium.

The games are subject to change but, all being well, the Saints will arrive at Adams Park on September 21 to play the Royals in an Under-21 Premier League fixture.

It will be the first match to take place since news of the deal broke earlier this summer – a deal which also sees Steve Clarke’s first team play Swansea at Adams Park on July 24.

The stadium will then play host to four further Royals matches: Everton on November 30, Middlesbrough on December 14, Manchester United on January 11 and Spurs on April 4.

All matches are scheduled to kick-off at 7pm.
