Former West Ham United striker Sean Maguire is on trial with Wanderers and was one of three trialists who accompanied Gareth Ainsworth’s squad on their pre-season tour to France.
The 21-year-old tapped home a Jason Banton cross to score Blues’ solitary goal in a 2-1 defeat against the third tier French side on Thursday.
Maguire played against the Chairboys twice for Accrington Stanley, whilst on loan from the Hammers, last season and found the net when the sides played out a 1-1 draw in December.
The striker is available on a free transfer after his release from the east Londoners, where he failed to make a single first team appearance after signing from Waterford in January 2013.
In total, the Republic of Ireland under-21 international played 34 times for Stanley last term, scoring eight times.
After the game against US Avranches on Thursday, the youngster tweeted:
First pre-season game done and first goal 👊👊

He was also pictured when the Wycombe squad got together for a photo after the match. The Irishman is on the front row, three people in from the right.
