Wanderers will play a friendly against Championship side Leeds United at Adams Park on Friday November 13.
The match, which kicks off at 7.30pm, is being played as both clubs have a break in fixtures due to the international break.
Wycombe were due to play Notts County on the 14th but the Magpies had three players called up for international duty and Gareth Ainsworth is pleased they have been able to arrange the tie.
He said: “It is important for us to schedule a fixture for that weekend to keep up the momentum rather than have a two-week break between games.
“I am delighted that we’ve been able to attract a club of the size and calibre of Leeds United and I’d like to thank Steve Evans and his staff for agreeing to bring their strongest available squad.”
Leeds currently sit 17th in the championship and are in the midst of a tumultuous period under Italian owner Massimo Cellino.
Despite this period of unrest Ainsworth is looking forward to a closely contested match and expects there to be a fantastic atmosphere inside Adams Park.
“I went to watch Leeds play at Fulham a couple of weeks ago and the support from their fans throughout the game was astounding,” he said.
“It should be a fantastic evening on and off the pitch and it’s one for everyone at Wycombe Wanderers to look forward to.”
Ticket information is yet to be announced but will be made available as soon as possible.
