Sources close to QPR have refused to comment on the perspective signing of Wycombe Wanderers goalkeeper Matt Ingram.
National reports are claiming that a fee has been agreed between the two clubs for the 22-year-old who has kept nine clean sheets in League Two this season.
With the future of the out of favour Rob Green in doubt, manager jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink is rumoured to be on the lookout for another option in goal.
Ingram has played over 100 times for the Chairboys and even at such a young age has become an integral part of Gareth Ainsworth’s plans at the club.
If indeed Ingram does depart from Adams Park It will see one of Ainsworth’s major fears for the January window realised.
The Wycombe boss claimed earlier this week that while he was flattered in interest in his players, it will be a challenge to retain their services throughout the window.
