Paris Cowan-Hall has re-joined Wycombe Wanderers on loan until January 31st.

The 25-year-old has had two previous spells at Wanderers and spent the second half of last season at Adams Park, although injury ended his campaign in February.

The dangerous forward’s ankle ligament injury was a clear frustration to Wycombe manager Gareth Ainsworth who is delighted to have secured one of his key transfer targets.

He said: “Paris was one of my main targets for the summer and I’m delighted that we’ve been able to bring him back.

“This is where Paris has played the best football of his career and he’s had two very happy spells here.

“I’m sure he’ll benefit from having a full pre-season with us and we look forward to seeing him back on the pitch where he’s capable of getting the fans on their feet and being a match-winner.”

Cowan-Hall previously joined Wycombe in June 2013 and played 46 league games, scoring 10 goals, before earning a move to Millwall in January 2015.

The move to the Den came after a December in which Cowan-Hall had showcased his best form for Wanderers to earn the League Two Player of the Month award.

A difficult period, which was again disrupted by injury, with the League One outfit brought a loan to Bristol Rovers in November last year ahead of his return to Wycombe.

Ainsworth frequently suggested Cowan-Hall’s absence was one of the key reasons for Wycombe’s dearth of goals during the tail end of last season, and it is likely he will operate as a striker for the Blues.

Goals are certainly top of Cowan-Hall’s agenda for the new campaign and he took to the club’s Instagram account to make his intentions clear.

He said: “As the fans know, and the club know and the gaffer knows, when I have been here I have always tried to be exciting, score goals when I can and assist when I can.

“That is what I play football for, to score and ultimately to win. That is why I am here and I look forward to doing that, getting stuck in and come the start of the season hopefully putting some away.”
