Wycombe Wanderers are in negotiations with Liverpool over the financial implications of the former Chairboys players transfer to AFC Bournemouth.

The Adams Park club are due a share of the £15m Liverpool will receive after a sell-on clause was included in the deal which took the 20-year-old to Anfield in 2011.

Wanderers are currently in discussions with the Merseyside club and will update supporters once full details have been agreed, in line with the confidentiality agreements within the transfer.

Ibe started his career with Wycombe and has gone on to make 41 Premier League appearances for Liverpool since making the switch to the Premier League side.

The £15m fee paid by Eddie Howe’s Cherries is a club record and sees Ibe move on after struggling to force his way into Jurgen Klopp’s side on a regular basis.
