It may have been a heartbreaking end to what was an amazing FA Cup tie but Wycombe players and fans have expressed their praise on Twitter about their display in Saturday's cruel 4-3 defeat to Spurs at White Hart Lane.
After taking a two goal lead through skipper Paul Hayes, Spurs pegged the Chairboys back to 2-2, only for Garry Thompson to remarkably put the Blues ahead once more with seven minutes left.
However, Dele Alli equalised with two minutes of normal time to go before Heung-Min Son scored the winner in the 97th minute to leave Wycombe stunned.
The players were quick to put nothing but a positive spin on the game:
Took a very good Spurs team to the last minute & couldn't be prouder of the boys π
