Wycombe midfielder Marcus Bean said this is the strongest squad he has been associated with in his time at the club after drawing 0-0 with Exeter City.

Bean. who has been instrumental for the Blues this season, will unfortunately miss the trip to Carlisle tomorrow after picking up his fifth booking on Saturday but is sure whoever steps in will do an excellent job.

He said: "This is definitely the strongest squad. You look at the bench against Exeter and we have the likes of Paris Cowan-Hall and Dayle Southwell coming on.

"You can just see the quality we have here and without doubt it is the best squad I have been involved with."

Bean assessed the trip to the north-west tomorrow and he is envisaging another tough game for Wanderers.

He added: "It will be a hard game mainly due to the distance and travel. We are expecting a tough game but we generally do well up there.

"It is a shame to be missing out. To get five bookings already is not great but at the end of the day my role is to put my foot in. I am disappointed to miss out but I come out and someone is going to come back in so I hope then I can force my way back into the team."
