WYCOMBE Squash Club believe they might have been part of the world’s biggest competitive match as World Squash Day captured the imagination of clubs around the world.

Senior teams met juniors all around the globe and Wycombe played their part with 30 players involved over two hours.

In total, it’s estimated that more than 40,000 players worldwide took part in the ‘match’.

For the record, Wycombe seniors won it 30-10.

Meanwhile, in the Bucks Squash League, Wycombe lost 16-4 at home to Aylesbury as their woes show no signs of abating.

In Division Two, Wycombe fought back to beat Chesham Bois.

Tim Bark-Jones and Tim Leslie-Smith both lost, but George Goodchild, Simon Miller and Mark Brown redressed the balance.

In Division Three, Wycombe 3s are still top after beating Chesham 1879 and Temple Wycombe lost 17-5 to LA Fitness in the Berkshire League.
