MORE than 1,000 runners are expected to take part in the Marlow Half Marathon in just over a week.

Ranked the eighth best in the country by Runner’s World, the Marlow Half Marathon starts and finishes at Sir William Borlase’s on November 4.

Race organisers Marlow Striders are also holding a Children’s Magic Mile Fun Run round the school grounds.

This starts at 9.45am and is open to anyone from four to 12.
