Bad weather frustrates Wycombe boys

HIGH Wycombe HC U18s didn’t get the chance to defend their National Boys Indoor Championships at the weekend because of the weather.
The big freeze forced organisers to postpone the competition, which was due to take place at Whitgift.
England Hockey were trying to arrange a new date this week, and say it could also mean a change of venue.
Wycombe booked their place in the finals last December, and would have gone to Whitgift as one of the teams to beat after winning both the Indoor and Outdoor titles last season.
