MARLOW RFC haven't got the bounce they were hoping for under a new manager as they were well beaten in South West 1 East.
They lost 47-5 at Newbury Blues, who were just two places above them at kick-off, in Richard Kinsey's second game in charge.
They now appear certain to finish second from bottom in the table and will be relying on how other tables finish for their survival.
Meanwhile, Amersham & Chiltern RFC were beaten 22-10 by the team placed second in National League 3 South West, Redingensians, but High Wycombe rallied to beat Reading Abbey 39-10 in Southern Counties North.
