CHESHAM United could move within two points of Southern Premier League leaders Hemel Hempstead tonight.

They travel to Poole, before taking on Stourbridge on Saturday and Hemel in a potential title-showdown on Monday.

Andy Leese' men go into tonight's game on the back of a 13-game winning sequence.

He said: "We know it is a tall order, but one we relish. Hemel have the advantage as we go into this week’s games, but we have kept the title chase alive when plenty wrote us off in January.

"It will be a real test of nerve over Easter. We have the experience in our dressing room to cope with the games and just as importantly the outcome, whatever it is.

"We are in the home straight now, just coming off the final bend. We are handily placed to make a challenge, and that is all we have targeted since last summer.

"One thing is sure, I cannot remember a finish quite like this in this league; two good clubs, two great sets of supporters, two good teams separated by a few miles - it doesn’t get much better for the supporters of both clubs."
