BEACONSFIELD-based Chiltern Cheetahs finished second and sixth at a the largest international cheerleading competition Europe last week.
More than 5,000 athletes took part in the Future Cheer’s International Competition in Bournemouth, but the two Cheetah teams more than held their own despite it being their first international event since being formed last year.
Their Youth team finished second in the 5-11 year old group, while the Junior squad was sixth in the 8-16 year old group.
Head coach Jess Goodall said: "I am extremely proud of all the athletes and they did amazingly well.
“Their hard work and dedication really paid off and they did themselves and all of their coaches proud."
Meanwhile, trials are being held tomorrow and next Saturday.
