CHESHAM United made the perfect start to the Southern Premier League on Saturday, but they'll have to back it up again tomorrow night when the title favourites bring two former stars back to The Meadow.

Chesham won 3-0 at Truro thanks to goals from Simon Thomas, Ryan Blake and Mark Nwokeji to top the table after the first day of action.

But St Neots Town are next up tomorrow night, having won 2-0 at Hereford on the opening day.

St Neots are the bookmakers favourites for the title and there will be added spice with striker partners Drew Roberts and Chris Dillon moving from Chesham to St Neots during the summer.

Meanwhile, in Division One Central Beaconsfield SYCOB were beaten 5-3 at home by Bedford Town, Marlow lost 1-0 at Godalming and Chalfont St Peter went down 2-0 to Bedworth United.
