CHESHAM United will hope they have turned a Southern League Premier Division corner after a 3-0 away win at Slough this afternoon.
The Generals were beaten1-0 by Corby on Saturday to complete a hat-trick of 1-0 reverses, but Ryan Laville was promoted from the bench and for the Bank Holiday fixture and responded with two goals alongside a strike from Simon Thomas.
The win was their first since an opening day triumph over Truro and means they have scored three goals on three separate occasions this season while drawing a blank in three other games.
On Saturday they go to Dorchester Town.
