Wycombe Hockey Club welcomed 150 juniors to Cressex on Sunday
WYCOMBE Hockey Club welcomed 150 new juniors to the club on Sunday when they celebrated England Hockey’s ‘Give Hockey a Go’ National Club weekend.
The day was a mix of skills and training sessions ahead of the new season, which starts at the end of this month.
Meanwhile, the club also marked the retirement of Phil Strachan after 22 years of managing the Cressex Astroturf.
He was presented with the Jean Hawes MBE Memorial Trophy by chairman Kevin O’Linn.
