CHESHAM United boss Andy Leese says his side will be underdogs when they travel to Dunstable Town in The FA tomorrow.

Chesham beat Bideford 4-2 on Saturday but came back to earth with a bump on Tuesday when Hitchin beat them 1-0 with a 90th minute winner.

Leese said: “We will need to improve dramatically if we are to progress in The FA Cup. We will go there as real underdogs on current form.

“Dunstable have some very experienced players in their squad, many of whom have played full time football, and probably still could.

“They have shown their intentions with the start they have made to the season, and I would expect them to be challenging for the title. We could not have had a harder draw.

Ryan Blake, Mark Bell, Simon Thomas and Dave Pearce all scored last weekend, but Chesham’s erratic form in front of goal continued with another blank on Tuesday that has left them 14 points behind the Southern League Premier leaders, and nine adrift of second-placed Dunstable.
