MARLOW Wolves will have 11 players inovled in the anual All Star North versus South American Football match this weekend.

It is more than any other club in the country, and breaks their own record set last year of ten players being called up.

Head coach Sam McKee said: “It will be more than any other club and the most we’ve had in the past.

“We’re very proud of the players and are delighted we’re beign recognised for our programme, because these players have been voted in by other coaches.”

The match, which takes place in Studley on Sunday, will be divided into four quarters with the cadets playing the first and third quarters and the youth squad playing the second and fourth quarters.

Meanwhile, the call-ups are further evidence of the strong links between the club and Great Marlow School, with seven of the 11 coming from their ranks.

Cadets: Joe Bedford (Great Marlow), Seb Herzog (Great Marlow), Owen Barrett (Sir William Borlase), Matthew Allen (Sir William Borlase) andAmos Ntahira (Stokenchurch Primary).

Youth: Will Kubicek (home schooled), Jordan Barrass (Great Marlow), Jacob Few (Great Marlow), Nathan Doust (Great Marlow), Jack Preece (Great Marlow) and Ben Bedford (Great Marlow)
