Chesham United found solace in their away form with a win over Biggleswade Town in the Southern Premier League on Tuesday night.
Andy Leese’s team had suffered a second straight home loss on Saturday when Hungerford Town left The Meadow with a 2-1 victory, but they bounced straight back three days later.
Goals from Simon Thomas, Alex Brown and Dave Pearce did the damage against Biggleswade in a 3-1 win.
Leese’s men have been in fine form on their travels recently, losing only once in seven away matches ahead of this week’s trip to bottom side Banbury United.
Chesham currently occupy ninth place in the table and will look to rack up a tenth league win of the season when they kick-off on Saturday afternoon.
