Tyrrell Hatton completed his first round at the Dubai Desert Classic on Thursday.
The Marlow man’s round of 71 leaves him tied for 54th place at one-under par after a high scoring opening 18 holes.
Hatton shot three birdies, including the first hole, to take himself to three-under par but picked up bogeys on holes nine and 15.
The 23-year-old will be hoping to make the cut following his failure to do so at last week’s Qatar Masters.
Austrian Bernd Wiesberger leads the way at Emirates Golf Club after going round in 64, giving him a one shot lead at eight-under.
