Harry Bennett scored three times in two games after he and Wycombe Hockey Club team mate Cameron Ryall were selected for international duty.
Bennett netted the only goal for England U16s in the third and decisive match of a three game series against the Netherlands over the Easter weekend.
The Dutch won the first match at Lilleshall 2-1 but England bounced back to win the second game 4-3 - thanks in part to a brace from Bennett - and snatched the final tie 1-0.
Bennett recently starred for Wycombe as they claimed a fourth placed finish in the National Finals in London.
He scored five goals in four games, including a hat trick in a 5-2 group victory over Cannock, but Wycombe missed out on bronze after losing a penalty shoot-out to Canterbury in the 3rd/4th place play-off.
