Jack Goff is seventh in the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) standings after three strong finishes at Thruxton on Sunday.
The Stokenchurch driver, who races for Triple Eight, finished seventh in qualifying before dropping one place down the order to eighth by the close of race one.
Goff finished two places above fellow Bucks driver Tom Ingram, who endured a tough time in the second race of the day as he was forced to retire after eight laps.
While Ingram watched on from the pits, Goff went onto secure his best finish of the day – missing out on the podium by less than a second as he drove his MG6 GT to fourth place.
The final race of the day saw both local drivers do battle before Ingram pipped Goff to tenth place.
After the third weekend of the BTCC Goff is five places and 33 points above Ingram, who lies 12th in the overall standings.
