Wycombe Saints under-13 girls team were victorious once again when they entered the Thame Festival of Football on Sunday.
The team had won the under-12 age group competition a season earlier and they retained their crown after winning all eight of their matches.
Strikes from Summer Green and Chloe Lewis fired them to a win against Carterton B in their opening game before Green scored again to see off Carterton’s A side.
Crendon were swept aside thanks to goals from Emily Carr and Kim Day before Thame Blues and Reds were dispatched 1-0 and 2-1 respectively.
A 1-0 success against Launton rounded off the group stage and set-up a semi-final against Carterton Town.
The sides were unable to be seperated, and a penalty shoot-out saw Kiera Barszcz fire them into the final.
Thame Blues were the opposition but were beaten once again as Green hit the winner.
